Events helpers

We need your help to assist with a range of events across North Wales.

Volunteers can help ensure events run smoothly and attendees enjoy themselves. You can help us to convey the NWWT’s message to a wide audience, especially families with children, and inspire people about wildlife.

You will meet a wide range of people and have the chance to work within a friendly, dedicated team of like-minded people. You will gain experience in organising events and activities and get a valuable insight into the work of this exciting conservation organisation in North Wales, together with the opportunity to travel to a variety of locations and take part in different shows.

You will have a desire to meet people of all ages and share your enthusiasm for nature and the environment. You will have an outgoing personality with good communication skills and enjoy hands-on activities e.g. badge making, mask making etc is useful for family events.

Ideally you will be able to travel across North West or North East Wales.

Appropriate training will be provided.

Interested? contact ResiTomat@wildlifetrustswales.org
Location: initially Bangor office.

Bloggers Volunteers

We are looking for a pool of volunteers to keep our website vibrant and updated!

Maybe you live near one of our reserves, or maybe your interest is beetles or small mammals, or you just like the idea of reporting on our events.

How about writing a few words, adding a photo and show your work on our website?

This role should not take much of your time especially as it might involve something you are doing already, like walking the reserve or looking for moths! All training necessary will be provided.

Would suit someone who would like to learn some basic web-blogging skills.

Interested? contact ResiTomat@wildlifetrustswales.org.

Location: Bangor office for an initial couple of times, then can be done form home.

Contractors Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer to further develop our contractors list.

The role will initially consist in entering data form different sources onto our excel file and eventually develop an online form contractors themselves will complete.

The Volunteer will also follow up on H&S requirements for the contractors (make sure we have Insurance certificates for example) .

All on-the-job training will be provided.

Would suit someone who has got an eye for details and an interest to learn about basic web design, especially online forms.

Interested? contact ResiTomat@wildlifetrustswales.org

Location: Bangor office initially, could be done from home at a later date.
